Exciting news!!  We are pleased to announce the Scouts NSW/Qantas sidebyside AirVenture camp that will take place from 28 September to 03 October 2025.

The Scouts NSW Qantas sidebyside 2025 Annual Flying Camp is a 5-day live-in camp designed to introduce you to the exciting world of aviation by delivering the first five hours of the CASA approved flying training syllabus. All flying will be with you in the pilot's seat, hands on and in control of one of Scouts' NSW modern Cessna 172 aeroplanes under the care and supervision of a CASA qualified flying instructor. Experience, the thrills and challenges of piloting an aeroplane for the all-inclusive rate of $1,695. More information, including a downloadable information pack, can be found below.

Alternatively, if you just want to “have a go” at flying, you could try our one-day Venturer Scout Flight Experience or our Adult Introductory Flight Training Program (see more information below).

Whatever the outcome, the Scouts NSW Air Activity Centre will provide you with yet another incredible opportunity, experience and challenge.

The Air Activity Centre Adult Introductory Program is available 7 days a week to all adult Scouts (Rover Scouts, Adult Leaders & Helpers).

All training is carried out In close cooperation with our flight training partner Altocap Flight School.
