If you wonder what it is like to fly an aircraft, have fun, challenge yourself and make new like-minded friends, this opportunity is for you!

In close cooperation with our flying training partner Altocap Flight School, the Air Activity Centre has a range of camps* on offer for budding aviators.

The Air Venture Introductory Camp is the perfect opportunity for you to give flying a go. The program allows YOU to be a pilot for three days, get a feel for being in command of an aircraft and to help you decide whether flying is for you.  

Our camp includes: 

• • Hands-on flying – five, one-hour flight lessons flown over the three days of the camp (days do not have to be consecutive) 
  • Know your aircraft – ground-based aircraft handling activities to understand your machine 
  • Small numbers – each day is limited to a minimum of two and a maximum of three participants 
  • Flight class – the same participants fly the same three days and complete their flying training program together. 

Alternatively, if you just want to “have a go” at flying, you could try our Venturer Scout Flight Experience or our Adult Introductory Flight Training Program (see more information below).  

Whatever the outcome, the Scouts NSW Air Activity Centre will provide you with yet another incredible opportunity, experience and challenge. 

*Note: These aren’t camps in the traditional sense – there’s no need to stay overnight and activities only take place during daylight hours, but they are held over a number of days.
