October AirVenture Camp:
Saturday 3rd - Tuesday 6th October 2026
Whether you're dreaming of a career in aviation or simply want to experience the thrill of flying, the Air Venture Introductory Flying Training Camp is the perfect place to begin. Over four action-packed days at Camden Airport, you'll take the controls of a Cessna 172, complete the first four hours of the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) syllabus, and learn from experienced CASA-qualified flight instructors. With accommodation, meals, ground school and hands-on flight training all included, AirVenture offers an unforgettable introduction to the world of aviation.
When: Saturday 3rd - Tuesday 6th October 2026
(October long weekend / school holidays)
Where: Scouts NSW Air Activity Centre, Camden Airport.
Who: All registered members* of Scouts Australia and Guides Australia

* The Air Venture Introductory Flying Training Camp is open to all registered members of Scouts Australia and Guides Australia. As places are limited, preference will be given to Scout Venturers and Senior Guides who are between 15 and 18 years of age for the duration of the camp. Applications from members outside this age group are still welcome and will be considered subject to the availability of places.
