Become an Air Activity Centre Member and Fly With Us!

The Scouts NSW Air Activity Centre welcomes adults from all walks of life. You don't need to be an existing member of Scouts.

Anyone with an interest in aviation can apply to join the Scouts NSW Air Activity Centre and fly with us, learn to fly, or simply help out during our Activity Days.

The Centre offers a terrific camaraderie of like-minded aviation enthusiasts and access to well maintained aircraft for flying training from ab-initio to advanced, and private aircraft hire at very competitive rates. As a completely volunteer-based organisation however, it is a requirement that you regularly assist with the functioning of the Centre in an active way, if you wish to hire aircraft and receive flying instruction at our highly competitive member rates.

During term breaks, air safaris may be planned as a group flyaway to far flung places such as Lake Eyre, Uluru, White Cliffs or Lake Mungo National Park and to visit regional airshows and fly-ins. There are also flying competitions, free safety information briefings and regular social events too.
